My career so far:
Born in Leicestershire, I was taught the rudiments of jazz, pop, blues, rock etc from the age of 11 by my Dad, Ivor Haynes and the late Sid Bent. Working as a drummer/percussionist professionally for well over 25 years and have taught drums from beginner to intermediate level for almost 15 years, I'm fully CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked and teach in schools across Leicestershire, personal and professional references available on request.

My studio experience includes many demo's, albums, singles, musicals and movie soundtracks. More than 20 years touring experience in both large and small venues including The Marquee, The Cavern and the Carling Academy (Islington), also festivals including Guilfest, Hawkfest, BBC Live, The Edinburgh Festival, Summer Sundae and Sugarhill Festival.

In the last few years I've achieved chart success in several countries including the UK and America, most notably in Russia with ist where we were at number one, in the two official download charts for eight weeks.

Aside from being a full time band member in various bands I've been employed as a session musician (working with DJ's, backing tracks, pre programmed loops and click tracks). I'm also experienced as a drum/stage tech, rigger/crew member, tour/event manager and even driver, working at venues across the UK including Wembley Stadium (for the last two years at the NFL Tailgate party).

In the last couple of years finished working on a recording project with ist in London at The Way Studio with producer Jay 'Burzootie' Burnett, I've also appeared on several FM and internet radio stations and live television (Red TV).

I am currently working on the soundtrack to British movie 'Father to Fall' due for release in 2010 and working with Kevin Hewick (HHJ) on his latest album project. I'm also working as a consultant to cymbal repairers/customisers Cymbal Surgery.

In 2010 I'm endorsed by: BigDog, Pellwood and Baskey.
